Walleye: The night bite for walleye has been hot! Trolling shallow plugs in 8-20 feet of water (fow) has yielded success for most anglers. Shore anglers are also catching fish near creek mouths. The daytime bite is not as stellar, but walleyes can still be caught in the 15-30+ fow range.
Perch: While specific perch reports are scarce, keep an eye out for updates. Lake Erie offers opportunities for perch fishing, especially during the warmer months.
Remember to check local regulations and have a valid fishing license. Tight lines!
