Current fishing report for Indian River Inlet, Delaware:
Striped Bass (Rockfish): Large striped bass have been caught at night from the North Jetty using SP Minnows and Storm lures. Keep in mind that this isn’t a blitz, so patience is key. You might need to put in some time, and there’s still a chance of not catching anything. Big blues also come and go without a specific schedule.
Surf Fishing: Big blues continue to be caught from Conquest Road to 3Rs Road using mullet fished on mullet rigs.
Inshore Fishing: There are still plenty of kings in the surf, along with small trout, spot, and croaker. Bloodworms, FishBite bloodworms, and cut bait work well. Keep your rig moving across the bottom for the best results.
Remember to check the tides and have a valid Delaware fishing license. Tight lines!
