Current fishing report for some lakes and rivers in Arkansas:
Craig D. Campbell Lake Conway Reservoir:
Fishing has been consistent. The lake was muddy after recent rain, but crappie are still being caught around the Highway 89 bridge and at Gold Creek. Minnows seem to be working well for crappie, and catfish are biting on night crawlers. Bass are active on crankbaits and soft plastic crawdads. Anglers are also catching lots of bream using redworms and waxworms. Lake Conway has no creel or length limits during its drawdown phase as part of the AGFC’s renovation project.
Nursery Pond: The Lake Conway nursery pond (over 60 acres) is open for fishing and stocked with bass, crappie, bream, and rainbow trout during the winter.
Little Red River:
Black bass are good. Try topwater baits near main lake and secondary points. Carolina-rigged craws or lizards are still producing, and the floating worm bite is good.
Real-Time Outflow Report: Check the Army Corps of Engineers’ real-time outflow report from Greers Ferry Dam.
